The spawn is right in front of a village. To your right there will be a swamp biome. One part of the village is actually generated in the swamp biome, causing one of the walking paths in the village to be in the water. It kind of looks like a little bay area or harbor. The village itself is quite small and has no blacksmith, so in that sense it's not that great. But it does have some farms from where you can harvest crops and get food.
