John Smith Legacy is one of the oldest texture packs for Minecraft PC (and now ported to Pocket Edition). It's a medieval styled texture pack which work nicely for terrain and structures which you want to give a more rustic and weather-beaten look. If you like really detailed packs then this one will most likely be a perfect choice for you.

Other than that, I really love these textures!
------------------------------------
1: They look downright weird
2: The nose texture BEHIND the long nose is kinda wasted (And that hidden nose texture looks so much greater
3: I believe some people might share the same views as I do as well

Well, this is just IMO, but I hope it can change. But the pack in a whole is definitely great for medivial builds/worlds. GJ!

When you apply packs to Global Resources, especially one so detailed, it uses a lot of resources and must retexture every world you have built.
If you don't know how to do that then you need to uninstall Minecraft PE from your device. Make sure ALL app files are deleted. Then restart your device and install Minecraft PE again.
If you do the second option make sure to backup your worlds first in case you have any important ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4mhm1DNSsM
Thanks already
