At spawn you will find yourself surrounded of light purple colored flowers. Turn around and cross the river to get to the snow biome. You will have extreme forest hills following the river on your left but continue straight through the snow biome for a while.

Soon you will have reached the snow pikes biome and as you can see in the image below - it's huge!
