Just a little ahead of spawn is a river. If you continue straight ahead in the direction of the river you will come to the little village quite soon.
The village is as mentioned quite small but its location is really cool. Basically it's cut up in two different parts, one part on each side of the river. Also, a little further up ahead a stone house is generated on top of a hill which overlooks the village nicely from its position.

In the center of the village at the foot of the hill where the stone house is on there is a blacksmith. If you enter the blacksmith and look in the chest this is what you will find:
